Out of Memory

2020, Series of objects
Particleboard, wood block, acrylic

Progress is going faster and faster, information bombards our immature minds like an avalanche. Our brain's working memory is full, and textures of the "real" world stop loading...
If our world turns out to be an illusion or a game, would you play differently?

A series of large flat objects in neutral gray colour, which are embedded in the landscape that look like images in a computer game that haven't fully or properly uploaded/ loaded. Some of the objects look like existing objects, some are incomprehensibly shaped, leaving room for interpretation.
Inspiration — the issue when some textures or objects fail to download In online gameplay: "texture pop-in" or "streaming issues." This problem may include textures appearing blurry, low resolution, or completely missing, and sometimes objects or environments load slowly or incompletely:

The
Obelisk
2020, Object
Foam, metal, patch cord
305x50x50 cm
The obelisk was erected in honor of our God of today, the Internet. Its four faces tell stories of love, quarantine, and love in quarantine—experiences shared by me and my friends.

Emoji, a commonly known graphic language, was used to describe the stories. One can only understand what is written on a particular facet of the obelisk by knowing the context. This leaves room for the viewer's imagination and at the same time distances them from an accurate interpretation of what is written.

At the "HOMO COMMUNICANS" exhibition at MMOMA, Obelisk was giving away free WI-FI.
Wandering Lights
2020, Objects
EL-wire, 36х10 см (ПОТОМ),
35х17 см (НОРМ)
The diptych "Wandering Lights" was created for an art action on the swamp. The lights took the form of text, and the swamp became a messenger.

"ПОТОМ" ("Later") portrays the quiet takeover of a waterbody by nature’s blanket — a vibrant green algae. The neon-green text reflected on the water's surface—reading "ПОТОМ" (later)—introduces a digital, almost cyberpunk contrast to the organic decay.
Women's Chain of Solidarity
2020, Performance

During the performance I wove wreaths and tied them into a long chain.

This work is about female power. It is not about physical superiority, violence or coercion, but rather filled with tenderness and love. Yet it is not devoid of... desire to transform and change the world around.
The performance is dedicated to the women of Belarus, who come out
for peaceful protests.
Love or not
Object, 2019
LED panel, 20x67x5.5 cm
A look at how one adapts to communication in messengers.

On the importance of the context in which interlocutors find themselves.

About the way emotions are conveyed.

On the ambiguity of interpreting messages in these contexts.
